My reason for volunteering at Treasure Hound is simple. When we moved to the island we had some items that were nice but we could not use them and started asking around as to who might want them. Treasure Hound was mentioned. When I came into the store, two women were working and both were enthusiastic and kind. One said she was a volunteer and whatever I donated, 100% of the proceeds went to the animals. It was hard to beat that amount of a donation. I signed right up and I love sharing that information to people shopping in Treasure Hound. It says a lot about our community.
