Susan Quinn Keck Mazzarella moved to San Juan Island in 2005 with her husband, Anthony and her four children; Michael, Matthew, Michelle, and Mark. She brings years of nonprofit experience with her and a passion for animal welfare. Since relocation to San Juan Island she has served as President of the San Juan Community Theatre and the San Juan Public School Foundation boards. She was a founding board member of the FANS of Island Rec. and on the boards of Spring Street International School and North Roche Harbor Road Association.
Susan loves being on the board of the APS-FH and would someday like to see every animal in a loving forever home. Until that happens, she wants to help make the shelter the best it can possibly be.
In her spare time she stays busy reading, taking Cowboy and Moose her two furred family members to the dog park, and visiting her kids who are spread around the country. Susan credits her being on the APS-FH board to her rescue dog Molly, and we at APS-FH thank Molly dearly.
